What does "certified'" organically grown really mean?

| Certified organically grown means that Delta's Joes Pistachios are not only grown WITHOUT chemicals, pesticides or herbicide additives, but we can prove it! Certified organic farmers are inspected annually by the certifying agency, the CCOF (California Certified Organic Farmers) .
Our Kermin variety pistachios are available raw, roasted without salt, or roasted, and lightly salt.
