Delta Joes Pistachios

It seems to go from walnuts to almonds to pistachios – depending on what was available in the area the recipe came from. Which do you prefer? Or is there something else I am not aware of?

I got pistachios & walnuts on sale..can I keep them in cupboard? Do I refrigerate or freeze them? Are they OK until I open the bag?
