Has anyone else noticed that the pistachios that are easiest to eat are also the best tasting?

I’m talking roasted and salted, in the shell, not counting the odd nasty ones.

Seriously, the ones in the bag that fell out of their shells are the best, and rarest.

The ones thta you can just pull out of the shells are next best, followed by the ones that are easy to crack open, then the ones that are hard to crack open, and the ones you have to use pliers or a knife to open aren’t even any good – barely worth the effort.

I like saltier, toastier pistachios.
They weren’t on sale, but I definitely came home with a few pounds today. Nuts are equally delicious as more processed salty snacks, but I feel less horrid after eating them in my preferred glutonous quanities.
